Hi, I’m Louise. Welcome to our Travel Blog.
My husband’s name is Andrew Love and this blog is filled with tales of our travels together.
In early 2017 we gave up our everyday lives in New Zealand; sold our house, left our jobs, said goodbye to friends and family, and headed to Europe to travel the continent in a campervan.
We spent 11 months in our beloved camper travelling over 26,000 kilometres around Europe – to the top of Norway and the bottom of Spain and everywhere in between. 27 countries in total!
We then headed to the UK, sold our camper and continued by car, spending 3 months in England, Scotland and Wales camping, staying in B&B’s and house-sitting.
House-sitting was a great way to experience everyday life in another country. We’ve looked after 27 dogs, 9 cats, 3 horses, 4 rabbits and some hens in some beautiful locations in France, Spain, England and Scotland.
After the UK we headed back to the continent, this time South East Europe, touring the Balkans and Romania before heading to our beloved Spain again for a week in Malaga and then to walk 117km of the Camino de Santiago trail.
We are now back in New Zealand for a while but it won’t be an end of our travels. This summer we intend to get reacquainted with our home land and be domestic tourists, all the while planning our next overseas adventure.
We’re always travelling, so our stories will continue for sometime yet.
We hope you enjoy following our adventures!
